‘Almost Christmas’ Milking Shed Market

Hello, hello!! I have been extremely absent from this spot (October came and went with no entry whatsoever!) but am here once more to let you all know that the ‘Almost Christmas’ Milking Shed Market is less than a week away!

After the very first Milking Shed market I was approached by a lovely lady, Rhondda Retallack of Dragonfly Glass, asking if I would consider my market participating in a new an exciting annual event she was in the process of creating….. The Turramurra Artisans Trail. Rhondda has been part of the Arcadian Artists Trail for many years and thought that Turramurra deserved an event of this kind. I was delighted to agree and this coming weekend will see my garden and house filled with stalls, bunting, people and fun as we join forces to create a wonderful weekend event. There will be three other ‘open studios’ that people can visit, all of which will be open both Saturday and Sunday between 10 am and 4 pm.

If you have visited the Milking Shed Market previously you’ll be excited to hear that most of the stall holders will be back and all have been working hard to bring you new and exciting items, many of which will make perfect, unique Christmas gifts!!!

Made With Love … Lizanne has some gorgeous quirky knitted, sewn and painted items to share with you (love love love them!).

Ceram-Tam has been cooking up a storm in her Kiln to bring you more of her delicately robust little vases (I’ve nipped in early and secured myself a few of these beauties to give as gifts!)

Sue-gem will be bringing her ‘oh so popular’ jewellery back to the table.  Papyral Spiral will have, not only her fabulous paper sculptured flowers, but also her new creations … small, vibrant, woven baskets.

Margot will be adorning the front lawn with her revamped furniture … you’d better be quick … these things, legs or none run out of the garden with sold signs attached!

Suzi has been in the flow and her beautiful paintings will tell the story. Ben and Victor will be spraying it again and also, together with Harry, will be offering you the chance to be amongst the first to own one of their newly designed and printed Wet Left Shoe T-shirts!!

Sorry to say Liz of Funky Forest Food, can’t make it this time and will be sorely missed but we have a newcomer … Alison will be tantalizing your tastebuds with her chest load of chutneys!!!

Last but not least MadCow me will have buttons and blocks to knock off your socks and the feeding trough will be full of delights to keep you fed and watered as you moo-ch your way around the Sheds!

So, are you excited? I am !!!

Look out on FB this week for photo evidence of what’s to come! Whee ….!!!

Hope to see you!!

Love …
