Anzac Day Milking Shed Market

Goodness Gracious Great Balls of Fire!!! last time I looked it was Christmas and now …. it’s almost May!! What happened in between? Well …. This MadCow has mooooooved!!! The Milking Shed has relocated from Turramurra to Pymble and I would say it’s about time we had a market to celebrate wouldn’t you?!!!

What are you doing on Saturday 25th April? It is Anzac Day, a day to remember and honour those who fought for us at Gallipoli.

At our Anzac Day Milking Shed Market we will be remembering with Rosemary which has particular significance as it is found growing wild on the Gallipoli peninsula – it is believed that the smell of this aromatic herb has properties to improve memory so, as the smell wafts from our pinned sprigs, we will be stirred to remember.

At the Feeding Trough, this market, we will be serving home made Anzac Biscuits, both in traditional form and a gluten free variety as well as savoury muffins and of course our signature raspberry and coconut loaf!! all lovingly made here in the Milking Shed kitchen. Enjoy a cup of tea or coffee with one of our tastie morsels, brush by the rosemary bush and take a moment to remember.

I’m excited to see how the market will feel in its new surroundings. All your favourite stall holders will be here with new and exciting pieces for your perusal. I can’t wait to see you all to share a day of remembrance, fun and community interaction.

Don’t forget that Mother’s Day is coming up … The Milking Shed Market has a wonderful selection of hand made goods that would make the perfect gift for Mum ~ she deserves it.

Looking forward to seeing you all next weekend!!!
