The Milking Shed Springtime Market

It is now only two days until our springtime Milking Shed market. I am excited to be hosting a fabby group of local creatives who will be offering their gorgeous creations for your enjoyment.

Tammy has been busy loading and unloading her kiln with wonderful hand made porcelain treasures. These gorgeous items were extremely popular at the last market. A group of three of her delicate vases make a lovely statement piece, or just one with a single stem … a perfect gift.

Liz will be whizzing up some of her delicious vegan delights again. These treats got snapped up in no time at the Midwinter market, particularly popular were the raw vegan Tiramisu pots … gone in a flash!! Not sure what’ll be on offer on Sunday but it’s sure to be veganeelicious!!!

Sandra has been swirling and curling for days and weeks now to bring you more of her stunning paper sculptures. I am the proud owner of one of Sandra’s pieces and I love the drama of the colour contrasted with the lightness of material and dramatic effect of the combination. Do you have a wall that needs livening up? Papyral Spiral can fill the gap!!

New to the market for springtime is Sue-gem, bringing along her handmade jewelry collection for your enjoyment. Sue’s beaded gems are lovingly crafted and extremely popular whenever she presents for sale … looking forward to having Sue here on Sunday.

Also new to The Milking Shed Market is Pretti-with-paint … Margot, the hardworking furniture restorer, will be bringing some of her items to share with us. I absolutely love my groovy green bedside table that I bought from Margot at her own market a few months ago!!! She is a whizz with a paintbrush so come and see if you can find that piece that will enhance your home and bring you joy!!

A number of local artists have been busy producing paintings especially for the Markets, Audrey’s cows were snapped up last time and her ‘door’ paintings too. I think there will be more of both on offer on Sunday. Suzi has been busy putting both pencil and brush to canvas with original treats to share. Georgia‘s watercolours on paper are beautiful. As if this weren’t enough, we have live art a-happenin with Ben and Victor working throughout the day … snap up a hot-off-the-press-paint-barely-dry original by these funky young fellas!

Lisa’s ‘Tea-lightful Candles’ are a fun and fab gift idea, a candle in a tea-cup . They come in retro florals or funky colours and spots … I love mine … red with white spots!!

The Milking Shed itself will be open within the market offering my very own photo-blocks and button flowers, all lovingly handmade by me! The Harrison girls will be baking and icing and bagging up their delicious and oh so popular cupcakes once more – the kids will love to wash one of these down with a tasty shake – whizzed up to order!  The ‘Feeding Trough’ will be offering yummy homemade tummy fillers … sit, relax, munch and enjoy.
